Anthropological education and new audiences II - How to engage schools?
Abstract (English)
We invite educators to explore the variety and creativity of forms of anthropological learning, formal and informal, in schools at different educational levels across the world. We want to ask how anthropology contributes to the learning experiences of students and how we might engage non-anthropologist educators to recognise the value of developing an anthropological mindset in their classrooms. We want to encourage local and international partnerships between anthropologists and schools, by introducing anthropology-related curricular or extra-curricular courses and activities. Keywords (Ingles)
Schools, anthropological education, formal and informal education, local and international partnerships, curricular and extracurricular activitiesparticipants
