Changing Methods in Anthropology

Abstract (English)
It is striking that we have been spontaneously asked to expand on, and to discuss the range of methods for gathering anthropological data and to elaborate on methods aimed at engaging in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative anthropological data. This panel will describe some of these new methods and will explore how methods can change and expand the future scope of anthropology as it develops out of past methods and develops new methods, while maintaining the principles that guide the expansion of, and elaboration on, anthropological theory.
