The unheard Gender voice through language and literature: Visibility through voice
Abstract (English)
Abstract:Language and literature have been served as mirrors of reflection based on societal actions and behaviours. Each individual voice and identity are given significant importance despite their challenges and struggles. They consider literature as a safe space to voice out their suppression.
This paper explores how literature has given voice to diverse gender experiences and how language plays a critical role in shaping and challenging gender norms. Traditional literature has transformed from the historical text to the evolution of narratives, research, and literary works. This research work highlights the inequalities and gender troubles from the dominant to the marginalised subordinated ones. The existing literature touches massively on Feminism, Masculinity, Cross-genders, LGBTQ and so on. However, this arena of literature has never settled its discussion; thus, this paper pays attention to the nuance of the upcoming challenges and the suppressed voice each writer/researcher expresses in their works. Despite the growth and the overwhelming work and discussion, it is significant to trace the gap between all genders and their raw voice struggles. The conclusion of the paper answers all the questions raised in the paper.
